In a significant step towards addressing public grievances and ensuring effective governance, SSP Poonch convened a high-level meeting in the presence of Additional SP and SHO Surankote along with all three DDCs of Surankote. The assembly was aimed at discussing and resolving various public issues, with a particular focus on improving civic amenities and security measures in the region. Civil society members, including senior citizens, former municipal chairman, former vice chairman, the Beopar Mandal president and vice president, Ex Sarpanches and a diverse group of media persons and youth representatives, actively participated in the meeting. This collaborative effort underscored the administration’s commitment to transparent and responsive governance.
During the meeting, SSP Poonch and other officials meticulously addressed numerous public concerns, ranging from infrastructure development to law enforcement. The discussions were characterized by a cooperative spirit, with civil society members and officials engaging in constructive dialogue. The presence of media persons ensured that the proceedings were well-documented, promoting accountability and transparency. This initiative reflects the administration’s dedication to fostering a participatory governance model, where the voices of all community stakeholders are heard and valued.
