Poonch, August 10: The Department of School Education Poonch organized a drawing and essay writing competition in connection with the Swachhata Pakhwada, a celebration of cleanliness and hygiene. The event was held at High School Purani Poonch, where CEO Poonch, Lal Hussain, and Principal HSS Boys Poonch, Rupinder Kour were present as chief guest and guest of honours respectively.
The district-level competition saw the participation of students who had secured the first position at the cluster level. The essay writing competition was held on the theme “War Heroes and Freedom Fighters”, while the drawing competition was centered around “Swachhata and India’s Freedom Struggle”. CEO Poonch, Lal Hussain, appreciated the participants for their creative expressions and emphasized the importance of cleanliness and patriotism.
The competition was successfully coordinated by Darshan Kumar and Yougal Kishore ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. The jury members, Ajay Maini and Tariq Mehmood Chutgai, meticulously evaluated the participants’ work, providing valuable feedback and declaring the winners.
