Srinagar, June 19: Two militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in the Hadipora area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.
A top police officer confirmed that two militants have been killed by security forces in Hadipora, whose identity is yet to be ascertained.
As the joint team of forces intensified searches towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces triggering off a gunfight.

Meanwhile, sources said that an army soldier and a policeman were injured in the encounter who have been shifted to a hospital where doctors said their condition is stable.
