Poonch, August 16, 2024 – Vikas Kundal, 2013 batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, has assumed the charge of Deputy Commissioner Poonch.
The transition was marked by a warm reception organized by the district administration, where Vikas Kundal was welcomed by a team of senior officers.
Vikas Kundal succeeded Yasin M.Choudhary (IAS) as the new Deputy Commissioner Poonch.
The incoming officer was accorded a special reception by the staff members of the Deputy Commissioner office, showcasing the district commitment to a smooth and collaborative working environment.
Vikas Kundal, known for his previous stints as the Managing Director of Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited and Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, brings a wealth of experience to his new role in Poonch.
A team of officers led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Tahir Mustafa Malik(JKAS) welcomed the new Deputy Commissioner at Bimber Gali(BG) along with Assistant Commissioner Revenue Poonch Qadeer-Ul- Rehman, SDM Surankote, Farooq Khan, SDM Mendhar, Imran Rashid Kataria and several other officers.
The incoming Deputy commissioner was accorded a warm reception by the district administration Poonch.
