As directed by Worthy Secretary Transport Sh. Niraj Kumar IAS, Transport Commissioner Sh. Rajinder Singh Tara and RTO Jammu Sh. Pankaj Bhagotra, a comprehensive safety audit of the transport facility at Christ School Poonch was conducted meticulously by Team ARTO Poonch. The team, comprising of ARTO Tara Mani, Imran Chowdhary MVI, Mohd Kaif SMVI, and Mozin MVTA, scrutinized all school buses. They found that all instructions issued by the school administration one week prior were adhered to. On-spot mechanics were called to rectify a technical defect found in one of the school buses. Instructions were passed to all drivers and attendants to ensure safe driving and adherence to traffic rules, as well as proper procedures for boarding and deboarding students.
The majority of the buses were deemed to be in satisfactory condition. The school administration showed great concern for the well-being of students and staff utilizing the school buses. Additionally, instructions were given to provide details of vehicles other than school buses used for boarding and deboarding students or staff, to ensure their safety as well.
